      Manual sliding gates, on the other hand, are designed to be opened by hand and do not feature any automated features. 

    • How does a sliding gate not fall over?

      A sliding gate is designed with stability features that prevent it from tipping or falling over during operation. 

      It runs along a sturdy track on the ground or, in some designs, is supported by a cantilever system where the gate is balanced and supported by rollers mounted on a post. The track or rollers keep the gate aligned and stable, distributing its weight evenly to handle the lateral movement as it opens and closes.

They’re also well-suited for sloped driveways and generally offer higher resistance to wind.
